When you do business with Hunter McCorquodale Inc., we gather personal information so that we may provide you and your clients with insurance products. We may use and disclose the information in order to:

• Obtain a quote or proposal for you or your client
• Evaluate underwriting risks where required
• Evaluate claims when required

We assume that you have the consent of your client to use the personal information in the appropriate manner.

What we will not do with personal information:

We do not sell your personal information or the personal information of your clients. We do not share your personal information or the personal information of your clients outside of our relationship with you and our insurance carriers.

All of our insurance suppliers who are granted access to your personal information and the personal information of your clients understand the need to keep this information confidential and protected. All of our employees, our underwriting services and our medical information services understand these privacy requirements as well. They know that they are authorized to use the personal information only for the purposes intended. This expectation is clearly communicated. We also have physical and systems safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access or use.

Your privacy choices:

You may withdraw your consent or the consent of your client at any time (subject to legal or contractual obligations and on providing us reasonable notice) by contacting our Privacy Officer.
